Our Season of Blames.

Part  One.

 

Blame! Blame! Blame!

From oriental to occidental

voices are same,

messages are nearly about same;

man has become blamer-

as he ascribes faults to other fellow

for occurrence beyond human control,

at national or international level

From west they came-

to seek pleasure-

in a uniquely created land;

a land separated by

South China Sea-into

a Peninsular Malaysia-and

East Malaysia (Malaysian Borneo).


Malaysia-the land where-

ancient and modern cultures

co-exist, home to Mount Kinabalu-

a monument and a sanctuary of

gods.

Kinabalu-a pilgrimage to

natives and foreigners,

year-round thousands gather

at the foot of this mountain-

to seek pleasure.


Recently, at the base of Kinabalu 

were the ten-pleasure-seeking-

European-tourists,  

in-a-care-free-no-body-clothe,

in a welcoming equatorial

climate;

six days after, Kinabalu revolted.

 
With a-six-point-deadly-quake-

lands rippled apart, rocks cracked,

trees uprooted, roads caved in,

bridges collapsed;

sadly, several souls were lost.

 
Worldwide, people asked-

why did Kinabalu become furious?

Kinabalu! Kinabalu! Kinabalu!

Why such a damaging rage?

We were told: European-nude-

tourists desecrated and defiled-

the abode of gods.

 
Oh! Kinabalu-why going this far?

In your anger-innocent souls

were hurt and made to wail;

by your action-you became

Roman Poena-spirit of punishment and  

“attendant of punishment to Nemesis”-

goddess of divine retribution.

 
Kinabalu-because of justice-

you over-stretched your moral

principle to a breaking point-

where scale of justice tilted,

blindfolded lustitia or Lady Justice

opened eyes, and

downward sword turned upward-

negating the principle evidence

before punishment.

 

Kinabalu, you have drawn tears

from many homes across the land,

now, you have created-

unwholesome fear among

people home and abroad.

 

Kinabalu-your have

caused double jeopardy in the

land-death and destruction;

moreover, triple jeopardy to

the fun-loving-European-

tourists now standing trials in

three courts: regular law court,

court of public opinion, and

invisible court of gods-

where restitution for spiritual

cleansing through “menolob”

by “sogit” will be requested.

 

Kinabalu-will you be pacified and

forgive, if “sogit” is paid?

Or will you re-define

moral codes for future

visitors to Mt. Kinabalu?

 
Although, Kinabalu and the

adjacent land remains legal

territory of Malaysia,

but you are a world heritage site-for

your cultural and physical significance.

 
Kinabalu-should we demand

two codes-from you-

one for natives and the other for

international visitors to Malaysia?

 

Quakes in the Land of Archaemenid:

It happened again,

rubbles in the land of Cyrus,

cries in the land of Media and

Persia,

within seven days,

thirty quakes had ripped

the land apart;

even in the days ahead-

tremor and succussation may

occur.

Iranians-why the tremor and

jactitation-instead of trill

from a joyful song?

Why cacophony,

instead of symphony of love

between man and his abode?

Who shall we hold responsible

for the trepidation causing

anxiety in the land?

I ask, who do we blame for

the widespread and un-ending

tears in the land of Cyrus

the Great?

 

I heard-blame no man-

blame no child,

but blame Iranian women,

because of their revealing and

seductive clothes on the streets,

neighborhoods, and suburbs,

as they set traps for male folks.

 

Blame Iranian women-

for the woes, because they

have abandoned strict Islamic

dress codes for-free and loose

western styled dresses-

now causing pains and

cries in the land-once upon a time-

the largest empire in the world.  

 

Castigate Iranian women,

yes, condemn-the immodestly

dressed women for leading Iranian  

men astray everyday,

because of their tempting and

alluring garments.

 
Iranian women-why

disobeying the mullahs and

Ayatollah-bearer of

“sign of Allah”?

Daily, these slaves of Allah

keep reminding you of

“head to toe” covering and

the value of hijab;

still you prefer tight wears and

loose scarves that easily

attract our men into doing

wrong.

You have filled Iran

with the cries of innocent

souls;

even though, Tehran-is-a-prone-

quake city-

many times, government gets

advance warnings from

seismologists about incoming

quakes;

still, we shall hold you-

Iranian women accountable for

the trouble people undergo.

 
Should we blame

Iranian women for

Tehran’s straddles on the

fifty-mile-fault-line?  

 
Do we blame

Iranian women for the

land crossed by several faulty

lines-making Iran-

a very active-seismic country-

in the world?

If yes, let the blames continue.

 

Blame them for the tragedies and

adversities in the land of

Cambyses,

even when Iranian crowded-

cities-

mostly, Tehran knows-

she sits on time-bomb-

quakes that can detonate

any time.

Iranians, when will the

cataclysm be over-

since you know the cause?

Multiple answers, multiple

solutions;

intellectual and science

community may say:

probably not!

 
It may not be so from

the spiritual front,

as religious leaders:

mullahs and Ayatollahs

shall say something different-

perhaps, they might say

very soon;

but on one condition:

remove the evil and

seek the face of Allah-

pains and cries shall be

gone.

 How far one-way “formulae to

repel earthquakes” shall go

remains a conjecture in the

troubled land of Achaemenes

dynasty.

 

The Texas Rains:

 Heaven opens its gates for trickles,

surprisingly, it has turned heavy

downpour,

daily, rivers, canals, dams, streams-

overflowing;

township, interstate roads

damaged, bridges collapsed, and

Texas has come under waters-

state emergency declared to

save our lone star state.

 
Everyday, innocent souls we lose

Flood-

daily, property worth billions

of dollar is washed away;

why has good-turned-bad in

a-near-perfect-managed-state-

in the contiguous United States?

 
Travel not far and search not much,

the culprits are our neighbors and

compatriots-

the Native American;

blame the Native Americans

for un-ending downpour that

gave the lone star state-a deluge.

Blame the Native Americans

for rain dances that had caused

thirty-one deaths and

eleven missing souls;

blame Native Americans for

black magic sustained dances,

which opened the gates of

heavenly dams that inflict pains

upon Texans.

 

I say, chastise Native Americans

for “something sinister” and

present “shambles” the

lone star state finds self.

 
I say, do not believe them-

ignore their unbiblical reasons,

never become victim of

their deceptive mantra of “climate

change or mumbo jumbo,”

concocted by those not knowing God.

 

Again, hold Native Americans

responsible for the  flood-

because of-centuries-old-practice of

black magic that’s now at work.

 

Texans-do we want rain?

Yes, we do,

we want the showers from heaven,

we want the dews from the ground;

but not the magically-induced-rain-

that will consume us and our land.

 

We are tired of rain dances and

black magic because of pains

that come with them,

let Texas be free from flood

due to man-made-causes

rain dance, rain dance, rain dance-

go away, go to the sea, and to

land of no return,

never show your face in

Texas again.
