Serena Jameka Williams: The Queen of Tennis Court.

Serena Jameka Williams:
The Queen of Tennis Court.

Her dexterity is manifest
in Tennis Court,
her ability, talents, and
skills,
she turns to game
to make the heart of
mankind rejoice.

Her artistic fingers-
ask from tennis racket or bat,
her creative hands-
let the bouncing tennis ball
elucidate and tell.

Like horse hooves
are her legs ready for battle,
like gazelle in open field,
swift are her legs for galloping;
powerful are the legs,
more than steel beam,
incredible are their animated
and prompt maneuvers,
any time she holds
imperial tennis court.

Body she lifts with ease
like an American Harpy
Eagle,
yes like eagle-she soar high
to do what she knows best;
velociraptor 21 Grand Slam
single and 36 major titles.
Sight-she has trained to
see beyond immediate
surroundings,
mind-she has trained
to take speedy and
rewarding decisions.

Regardless of back and forth
movement on the lawn,
widely-ears are opened-
to take charge of imperial
tennis court.

Still her inherent beauty
resides in her,
in spite of riches and fame,
modesty and decency
encapsulate her,
notwithstanding power and
influence,
rectitude is her permanent
tunic and cloak.

Within Wimbledon-
she has made numerous
friends,
outside Wimbledon-
she leads international
followership.

By her success story-
many have re-discovered
themselves,
by means of her tenacity and
perseverance,
many have become
refined gold, emerald, and
diamond of inestimable value.

Her Tennis Court Oath-
she has turned covenant of
liberation and success to
every desirable soul.

Let world doff its hat
for the queen and
prodigy of tennis;
let humankind say
well-done to
Tennis Empress-
who conquers the world
not by lifting a sword,
but by means of racket and bat.

Let the world say thanks
to foremost promoter of
Harry Gem and
Augurio Perera’s
mementos-racquets-and
ball game Pelota-
they invented.

Let the world thank
the lioness and precocity
who recreates and gives life
to Walton Clopton
Wingfield 1873 experiment-
The Lawn Tennis.
