Your
Royal Majesty
From sunrise to sunset
empire he created,
to him all kings,
nobles, royalty pay
homage and tributes.
Into his coffer and
treasury,
every proceed from
annexed and occupied
territory went,
into his barns produce from
distant lands stored.
His storehouse a depository
for gemstones from south, and
his bullion housed
gold, copper, and silver
from old world or
Afro-Eurasia.
Into his gallery mulcted
artworks deposited,
every plundered rare book,
ancient manuscripts
found way into his library.
Yesterday’s sweat and
blood of our ancestors,
created today’s wealth,
and
present success nurtured
by past wailing and cries
of
progenitors.
Because of his vast
empire,
sun never set upon it and
because of his vast land
orchard of mixed wines and
fruits he possessed.
His wealth was stupendous,
luxury had no equal,
opulence surrounded him
and household,
grandeur greater than
those
before him,
courtyard like angelic
residence,
in his cities were riches
far beyond description.
He ruled and reigned
over world,
upon influence and power
of yesterday,
offspring rule over
the world, and
from silhouette of yesterday’s
power,
heirs and scions control
the world.
Your royal majesty,
women of the world
bob you a curtsy,
just as men bow down
to you.
