Today Make Better.

Today I will make better,

yesterday’s mistake

I won’t repeat,

today I’ll make different

yesterday’s bad company

I won’t keep,

Today I’ll walk on new path-

yesterday’s inglorious pathway,

I’ll avoid;

today I’ll sing a new song,

old tune I’ll discard.

Today-value I’ll add to life-

help I’ll render to people,

weak-I’ll strengthen-

trouble soul I’ll comfort,

broken bones-I’ll bind-

father to fatherless boy,

widow-I’ll give a listening ear.

Today-new friends I’ll make-

yesterday’s enemies-

I’ll forgive,

heart door-I’ll open to

unknown-

new lessons about life,

I’ll learn from them.

 

Yesterday’s failure,

I’ll turn to opportunity,

reasons for failure

I’ll research and make

knowledge from it

abundant to humanity.

 Good cause-I’ll pursue-

yesterday’s  skirmish-

I’ll abandon.

Today-yes-today,

I’ll recreate through

a transformational power,

unseen inner force,

a positive power that

turns all “disappointments,

unfortunate, ills, impossibilities,

and inadequacies” in negative tones

to positive tones.

 

Yes-today-I will make

better,

lessons from yesterday,

I will turn to gold,

for tomorrow to become

best.
