Educate me to face

tomorrow with optimism,

train me to train

tomorrow’s inheritance,

empower me to empower

our future.

Reduce me not to

spare wheel for any

cultural or social reason,

spare me of religious

practice that takes

future away from me.

Unchain me from

myths and tales

that may limit me;

give me tools to

prepare me for

tomorrow.

 

Give me not husband

at early life,

but give me education,

give me pens and pencils

to work with,

not other “P.”

Give me books to read

not bed,

strengthen my hand,

to become firm and

strong,

challenge my mental

faculty,

to withstand

tomorrow’s heat;

send me to learn a trade

not to a fattening room.

Never rape,

feed me not like

Christmas’ chicken,

feed me not like

a milking cow,

pen me unlike a sow.

Train me,

educate me,

empower me,

Just give me a Future.
