WAR AND MAN

War and Man:

War man plans everyday,
war he wages,
war he derives pleasure,
war man turns to business,
weapons of war,
he creates by day,
causes of war,

                                                                   

he promotes,
blood of innocent,
he sheds without reason,
homes war destroys,
families war kills,
widows it makes women,
orphans children will
soon become.

War man makes attractive,
war man turns to entertainment,
simulated weapons of war,
man makes as toys to charm
young folks.
Destruction from sea-
war brings,
killing from air,
war promotes,
slaughter from land,
war creates.

Millions have been killed
in wars,
Trillions have been lost to
wars
yet-god of war mankind
worship,
goddess of war,
mankind adore,
princes of war-
their friend.

Will man ever learn from
yesterday?
Will man ever think,
war is avoidable, and
peace is possible?
