Dr. Isa Pantami, Nigeria Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, accused of being Terrorists' sympathizer.
The Terrorists in Our Midst:
It is no more news that a prominent minister in the present administration in Nigeria is a terrorists sympathizer. It is no longer a news that Isa Pantami, Minister of Communications and Digital Economy "was" once a fellow-traveler and supporter of Al-Qaeda, Islamic extremists and Salafist jihadists, whose long-term goal is to create global Islamic caliphate by all forms violence, inasmuch as end justify the means. Isa Pantami, in many speeches and by actions in his student's days at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi confirmed, where his mind, soul and heart belong-terrorists sympathizer-in a troubled geopolitical confine that keeps searching for its lost soul.
Should Nigerians be surprised as the government in Abuja dances around Isa Pantami's terrorism outlook? If so, it means Nigerians are carefree and insouciant people-whose casual lack of concern, indifference have no limits.
In fact, nothing best describes the current government in Nigeria as a terrorist's government. Events before 2015 and beyond have proved beyond all reasonable doubt-that the present government in Nigeria-is a terror-based regime. At least, on many occasions, then presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari had called for violence-violence, which resulted in the death of thousands in 2011 with billions worth of goods and services destroyed.
Yes, the then presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari has never hidden his love for shari'a in a secular nation like Nigeria-by his actions and speeches within the length and breadth of Northern Nigeria, since retired in 1985.
Yes, the then presidential candidate, now chief imam, instead of president and commander-in-chief, Federal Republic of Nigeria through nepotism and nonchalant behavior to the plurality of Nigeria has shown the world, what type of person, he is; a religious fanatic, unapologetic Muslim, who believes in the supremacy of Islam over other religions, and if Islam does not have its ways in the scheme of things in Nigeria, nothing else does.
Buhari through his appointments into key areas in government has demonstrated-everything Islam or nothing else; Buhari through policies have shown, it is either Islamic toned policies or nothing else. Buhari by means of body language and activities of his brethren-the Fulani-from inside and outside Nigeria believe the country must be run on sheikh-model of sixth century islamic society without due regards to extant laws. And the realities on ground today show, how far Buhari and his jihadists have taken Nigeria aback by centuries.
When we say-they are terrorists in our midst, it goes beyond Isa Pantami; in fact, Nigeria terror network covers all facets of life. From political life to economic system; from social life to cultural living; from judiciary, military, police, paramilitary, public service to the private sector-the hibernated terrorists created by northern military called Nigeria Army through its weblock have become hydra-headed monster with destructive teeth and poisonous venom that has succeeded in liquidating Nigeria.
With the culture of rascality, insolence, arrogance and impudence-the Futa Djallon Fulani migrants in Nigeria have continued to display for decades, it won't be out of place to say, Nigeria may not survive catastrophe from the Fulani-led regime, which is the worst in Nigeria political history. From all fronts, Nigeria is terrorized, choked, suffocated, restricted, oppressed and caged by those who are more of a curse than a blessing.
Those who fear challenges, hates competition, and averse to a progressively run society, where individual freedom and happiness guaranteed by inalienable rights are at variance with controlled freedom hidden under the cloak of religion, wrapped around the so-called born-to-run mentality with nothing good to offer.
Terrorists in Our Midst:
Did we just know about the terrorists in our midst? If so, it means, Nigerians have been in trance for decades. Are we just aware of terrorists in Nigeria state, it means-Nigerians have been living in fool's paradise. Terrorists have been living in Nigeria as long as Nigeria exists, and very unfortunate, these criminals have produced leaders-whose network-of-evil-cover all facets of life.
In fact, terrorism in Nigeria as of today is more than we think. While the Boko Haram, the created political soldiers of yesterday now-turned-mujihadeen have taken over the northeastern axis of Nigeria, the foreign recruited soldiers for 2015 elections from Mali, Niger, Chad by Nigerian Fulani elites have made northwestern Nigeria a new Afghanistan. Today, Niger, Sokoto, Zamfara, Kaduna, Kebbi, Katsina, and Kano States are safe haven for these criminals which Ahmed Gumi has become their spokesman and chief negotiator.
Economic Terrorism:
Who will say Nigerians are not terrorized economically today? Every reasonable Nigerian believes, through very many national institutions-by subtle means- Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS); Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA); Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC); Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC); Nigeria Customs and Excise, (NC&E); Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN); Securities and Exchange Commission, (SEC); Corporate Affairs Commission, (CAC); Nigerians are now made to pay Jizya or jizyah in all forms of manners in the name of revenue generation. Taxes or financial burden, which are more tilted toward southerners-who continue to bear the brunt of Nigeria.
The monthly income generations by 36 states, including Abuja and Federal government show South provides between 70 and 80 percent revenue needs of Nigeria, of which Western Nigeria leads by over 50%.
And Unfortunately, this revenue is badly managed as you see incompetent hands in the name of federal character or quota managing the commonwealth. Today, under the present administration, it has been loans upon loans with nothing to show for them, with future of even unborn already mortgaged.
Worse still, is the monopolist structure or arrangement upon which Nigerian economy is based. Today, only a few individuals run a-200-million-people economy.
Just one man controls cement and almost construction related businesses; just one man is in charge of sugar business consume by 200 million Nigerians; just one man is allowed to build a refinery to produce petroleum products for 200 million plus Nigerians, while the four NNPC owned refineries are left to rot for one-man-business to thrive. Just one man is in charge of edibles in a multi-cultural societies like Nigeria. The list is endless. Is this not an economic terrorism?
Other Forms of Terrorism in the Land:
Military and police rascalities in Nigeria have no limits. These two institutions have created more negative images for Nigeria than any known institutions. Their records of human rights abuses are beyond imagination; their disrespect to laws, even the laws that guide their operations are unimaginable. Nigeria Police carry out duties with barbarism and brutality; while Nigeria Army consistently behave as if it's above the law. Men and officers have no respect for civilian population; more so, Nigeria Army flout laws and rules every time, judgements against the body are barely honored, even if so, it may take years or decades. What do we call this behavior? Terrorism or nothing else.
Every society is run on a four-pillar-foundation of justice, fairness, equity, and conditions for pursuit of peace. However, not in Nigeria, where justice is long dead, as two different laws apply.
One for North, another for South; while the rule of law applies in the south, the land of "infidels"; the rule of man operates in the north, where the "holies" live.
Fairness has no place in Northern Nigeria political rulers' dictionary; in fact, to north, fairness means total and absolute control of all institutions and management of commonwealth. This explains, why about 35 military institutions are sited only in Kaduna township or Kaduna State in a Federation of thirty-six states.
Education-oversight-bodies with little or no relevance to north, where western education is derided are located along Kaduna-Abuja-axis.
All Police institutions to care for 200 million Nigerians' safety and security are located between Kaduna-Kano-Jos-corridor; even to a ridiculous level, institutions-whose existence are determined by nature-such as water, are located in the desert, and very unfortunate, these establishments are ultimately destroyed because of mismanagement, corruption, and quality of leadership. What could best define this condition-other than terrorism.
Titus Adronicus-the Shakespearean most violent and tragically ended play now has re-enactment in Nigeria. Intrigues, hate, passion, evil, bloodshed, pain and anguish foundation for one of the most condemned fictional plays in history. But the reality is, Titus Andronicus is going on somewhere in Africa.
