South Africa's Rich Culture:
South Africa is rich in everything nature has offered her; however, there are three distinct areas South Africa continues to shine.
South Africans are so colorful; a nation of multi-ethnic groups, each group has a unique culture; distinctive language, special delicacies; peculiar hairstyles; uncommon song with exclusive musical instruments; novel language; sui-generis dress codes; exclusive music; a nation of nations-the Nguni groups, Sesotho and Setswana; the Shangaan groups, the Venda group; the Whites-English and Boers; the Asian, and the Colored, people of multiple ancestry. ALL MAKE SOUTH AFRICA GREAT.
South Africa parades extraordinary culture; culture from and among cultures. From SiSwati or Swaziland is a culture built over four or five hundred years ago from the first King Ngwane to his grandson, Sobhuza, then to the great-great-great-grandson, Mswati 11. A central system of kingship under Ingwenyama (lion) and queen mother, Indlovukati was created; even with Boer/English attacks, SiSwati people protected their culture for generations yet unborn.
Great were the Zulus, and great were their warriors and kings, whose ASSEGAI, saved Zululand for generations; mostly in today's KwaZulu-Natal; Zulu has unbeatable spirit, a people with defined mission; a people with irrepressible destiny; its language spoken by 22% of South Africans; Zulu has a long history, which predated Shaka the Zulu; the history the likes of Mangosuthu Buthelezi sustain to this day.
Xhosa people are the third leg of Nguni people in South Africa; others are SiSwati and Zulu. They are mostly found in Western and Eastern Cape in South Africa. Just like other groups, AmaXhosa practiced patrilinear monarchical system. Very rich in culture, even suffered many years of social dislocation, yet her culture remained.
