Would you belive that Sukur World Heritage Site is in Nigeria.

It is in Adamawa State of Nigeria. Sukur Cultural landscape is located in Adamawa State, a UNESCO Heritage Site since 1999. The settlement has two parts-the upper and lower parts. The upper or hilly side houses the palace, where Sakur Sama and his household live.
Sakur Kasa is the lower part, where people live; the palace has several gates and the community has a lot of ancient relics-furnace, ore, grindstone.
With such a wonderful settlement that connects the past with present, the federal government and Adamawa State should turn it to a tourist center; and believe me, this could be a money spinning venture for Adamawa State.
Adamawa State can survive on Sukur Heritage Site without monthly peanut it collects from Abuja.
Tourism can make a difference in ADAMAWA STATE.
