 Under her arms

lie protection,
between hands
children find security,
on her chest comes
warmth,
no fireplace can equal;
and between cleavage
are
resting pillows and
pantry of life.
Her shoulder anchor
to hold weakened
hands;
her chin-a lookout
outpost against
any danger.
Her sight,
she puts in service
to watch for others;
her body
a pillar for support.
Her intellect in duty
of service to
humanity,
attention without
equal,
care-only known-
sacrifice.
A mother like
none.
