I’m autistic,

let me live,

I’m autistic,

deprive me not

life,

I’m autistic,

regardless I will go to

school,

I’m autistic,

I need no pity,

but dignity and respect.

I’m autistic,

with patience

you’ll discover me,

with love,

you can nurture me,

with every day  care,

you’ll know me better,

with kindness,

you may lead me to

my destination.

I may not talk,

teach me symbols,

give me ideogram,

I may not be audible,

teach me sign language,

make my learning be fun,

with picture and drawing,

let talking images connect

with my world.

 

Don’t agitate me,

rather relieve me of

pressure,

don’t fluster me,

make my stay with you

be indelible,

let my heart found solace

in your heart,

let my soul bless your soul.

 

I’m autistic,

yet-a living soul,

being autistic,

takes nothing away from

being a human,

I’m autistic,

by accident not by design,

treat me-not like a number,

treat me not like undesirable,

always treat me-to make-

LIFE WORTH

LIVING.
