Tell Me!

Tell me story about life,

tell me man’s journey in

life,

tell me the pains, cries,

aches, twinge, joy,

happiness about life,

yes-tell me-why life is

both sweet and bitter,

compassionate and cruel.

Tell me-why evil continues to

increase,

goodness on decline,

tell me-why the righteous

suffers,

wicked and his family

prosper;

tell me why man prefers

darkness to light,

I’m asking-why is

malevolent always on throne,

benevolent  in chain.

Tell me-why do death kills

in millions,

no one has temerity to

challenge it,

old and young,

means nothing before it;

great and wonderful,

fill vault daily.

Why? Why? Why?

Tell me why hate has

replaced love,

lies take place of truth,

tell me-why bigotry is

the new name for

broad mindedness,

fanatism now replaces tolerance,

tell me-why provincialism

synonymous with internationalism,

catachresis and solecism outpace

kindness.

Tell me-why cruelty and

barbarism are orders of the day,

wicked is never sanctioned;

tell me-why is evil protected

under the law,

fair-minded is punished.

Tell me why treachery

rather than proper route

man takes to top,

tell me why evil agenda,

mankind pursue from east to

west,

from sunrise to sunset

evil schemes he is plotting.

Tell me-why do friends turn

foes,

history continues to repeat

itself,

tell me-more about life,

usual and un-usual,

zany, madcap, oddity, and

weirdo;

tell me the loony of

life.

Can you tell me-more?
