- Consider these ten mega cities around the globe: New-York, United States; Manila, the Philippines; Karachi, Pakistan; Mexico City, Mexico; Delhi, India; Seoul, ...South Korea; Jakarta, Indonesia; Shanghai, China; Guangzhou, China; Tokyo, Japan with a combined population of 238.7 million representing 3.41 per cent of world's population.
- What do these cities and those not mentioned have in common with man? So much, but strikingly or rather the soul stirring similarities between a typical city and Homo sapiens-mankind.
- Similarity? Yes, of course- the similitude; perhaps, we may say: the parallel or homoiousia between a man and the community he lives with either general or specialized units (or parts) that allow this community function like a human body.
- Have you ever thought-what represents the human mind or seat of intellect, heart, kidney, lung, liver, skin, tummy, circulatory system, leg, hand/finger, eye, ear in a typical human dwelling place?
- Are you ready to peer into a new discovery as Poetry creatively unraveled the similarities between biological science of human physiology & anatomy and that of city's physical design & plan?
- The Watchnight Songs, creatively brings the new, but rare knowledge to the FORE for everyone to KNOW.
- The Summary of the New Discovery is found in Chapter 2: "The Human Body- A Symbolic City."
- The Watchnight Songs is now available at: amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, authorhouse.com, indiebound.org, booksamillion.com, and several other online retail outlets.
- More so, the book comes in two versions- the paper and the eBook, which can be downloaded on any smart phone or tablet, provided the device carries a supporting program or application of the chosen bookstore.
- Get Your Copy or Copies and see the NEW DISCOVER .

Igbo Kwenu!
Igbo
Kwenu!
I’m not Igbo,
but I feel his pains,
I’m not Igbo,
his complaints are
genuine,
I’m not Igbo,
his fears are justified,
I’m not Igbo,
listen to his cry.
I’m not Igbo,
treat Igbo man fairly,
I’m not Igbo,
he deserves not third
class citizen in father’s
house;
I’m not Igbo,
give Igbo man justice,
treat Igbo man with
fairness.
I’m not Igbo,
let Igbo dream lives,
I’m not Igbo,
let Igbo be part of
a new Nigeria.
I’m not Igbo,
visit father’s sins
not upon the children,
I’m not Igbo,
remember Igbo makes
the triangle north-west-east
possible.
I’m not Igbo,
let Igbo man and
woman live,
I’m not Igbo,
let Igbo sea ports function,
let Igbo airports fly and land
planes,
save Igbo from erosion and
mud sliding.
Let Igbo roads be
motor able,
let Onitsha be the door
to land of sunrise and
sunset,
let Nnewi industrial spirit
lives on.
Let Aba entrepreneurs’
spirit thrives,
let Owerri burgeon,
let Umuahia blossom,
let the coal city-Enugu-
flourish,
let Nsukka be Athens of
east,
let Abiriba boom.
I’m not Igbo,
on Aburi Igbo stands.
Future I See.
Future-I See.
Tomorrow I see
with clear eyes,
future I see with
unclouded mind,
I gaze not at
constellations up in sky,
I have no crystal ball or
Orbuculum.
I look not at palm,
I consult not urim,
divination I keep at bay,
I visit no fortuneteller.
Upon my roof top,
I observe the conduct
of earthly man,
on my balustrade,
I watch activity of
homo sapiens.
On my parapet,
I stay musing on
affairs of mankind,
in my bed-I ruminate
upon the activity of human.
Oh! What I see create fear
in me,
what I see terrify me,
what I see un-nerve me,
what I see agitate my soul,
what I see unsettle me.
When I observe
never-to-be-proud-of-
conduct of elders,
I ask-where did we go
wrong?
When I look at subpar
leaders,
I ask-what happens
to history?
When I observe
how evil continues to
triumph over good,
I ask-what is the
purpose of life?
When I examine conduct of
hirees or elected to work
for public good,
their insouciant behavior,
I ask-what will tomorrow hold
for mankind.
Fathers-I appraise at
public square,
continually I shake head
in disbelief;
mothers-I observe
at concourse,
every time-I weep
as mothers abandon noble
roles for ignoble.
Wives-I descry
in marketplace,
at all times,
every time I become
dubiety for future
they will bequeath to
daughters.
Brothers-I watch
at agora,
I can’t believe-
what I see every time,
sons-I behold at
village green,
madly-I ask-
are these leaders of
tomorrow?
Daughters-I probe at
esplanade,
I ask self-
are these wives and
mothers of tomorrow?
Oh! What I see every day
is troubling.
I see decency
leaving in anger,
decorum resigning
from duty post,
morality going on vacation,
hard work and dignity
saying good bye to
colleagues.
I see honesty and uprightness
closing shops,
love, kindness, and peace
put in jail,
fairness, justice, equity, and
equality thrown into dustbin.
I see war on throne,
from one place to another,
hate, discrimination,
fanatism, xenophobia,
as counsellors and advisers.
I see discrimination, religious
extremism, intolerance, rightist,
leftist, anger, inflexible,
rigidity, and immutable
in parliaments.
Hallowed chambers-
once occupied by love, peace,
reconciliation, and friendship,
now anathemized or accursed
chambers.
Mankind on road to perdition,
mankind on felo-de-se,
mankind on self-destructive
behaviors;
who delivers his soul?
Oh! Future-I see is worrisome,
Yeah! Tomorrow-I see is
disturbing,
again I ask-who will
save mankind from
self-destruction?

Mathematics of Life.

Mathematics
of Life
Add goodness to life
to make many love life,
exponentialize love to
remove social barriers and
open enclosures,
multiply love by abolishing
all differences and racial
superiority promoted by few,
square root peace to
give mankind unity.
Turn justice, fairness,
equity and equality to
foursquare,
foundation for society’s
brotherhood and greatness;
subtract hate right from heart,
what unites-let heart bear and
proclaim.
Subtract hate from politics
unite people for goodness,
divide not by religion, race,
politics, and nationality,
multiply everything that
brings people together.
Equality before law,
promote;
distribution and access to
commonwealth,
let fairness reign,
assign equity to supervise and
manage national resources
Respect every soul
uphold integer,
where everyone is important,
don’t fractionalize evil,
but treat evil as a universal
scourge.
Turn no human to sub-human
through decimalization
unite by ampersand,
symbol of cooperation,
be tolerant just as
plus-minus co-exist.
Divisive act and profanity-
asterisk to minimize effect,
instead of backlashing or
setting difference,
let everyone be same,
let equal sign live.
Let 360
represents
completeness and inclusion,
as you watch everyone
under your care,
run an all-inclusive system,
where everyone counts.
Percent and ratio,
make a strengthening factor,
square-let each corner of
community counts,
never be rectangular in nature,
yoke no two unequal partners-
for same goal,
rather-make parallelogram-
foundation of life,
let each side of equal size and
strength run the show
with minimum control,
rhombus-yes-but not
every time,
cylinder-no-even with
perpendicularity.
Issues-discuss with maturity-
angles to all matters-
consider dispassionately.
Let mathematics of life
rules,
let mathematics of life
multiply love,
add laughter,
divide task or duty, and
subtract hate from life.

Today Make Better.
Today
Make Better.
Today I will make better,
yesterday’s mistake
I won’t repeat,
today I’ll make different
yesterday’s bad company
I won’t keep,
Today I’ll walk on new path-
yesterday’s inglorious pathway,
I’ll avoid;
today I’ll sing a new song,
old tune I’ll discard.
Today-value I’ll add to life-
help I’ll render to people,
weak-I’ll strengthen-
trouble soul I’ll comfort,
broken bones-I’ll bind-
father to fatherless boy,
widow-I’ll give a listening ear.
Today-new friends I’ll make-
yesterday’s enemies-
I’ll forgive,
heart door-I’ll open to
unknown-
new lessons about life,
I’ll learn from them.
Yesterday’s failure,
I’ll turn to opportunity,
reasons for failure
I’ll research and make
knowledge from it
abundant to humanity.
Good cause-I’ll pursue-
yesterday’s skirmish-
I’ll abandon.
Today-yes-today,
I’ll recreate through
a transformational power,
unseen inner force,
a positive power that
turns all “disappointments,
unfortunate, ills, impossibilities,
and inadequacies” in negative tones
to positive tones.
Yes-today-I will make
better,
lessons from yesterday,
I will turn to gold,
for tomorrow to become
best.

Mathematics Through The Centuries.
- Mathematics Through
the Centuries.
- Numbers upon numbers,
formulas upon formulas,...
hypothetical statements
against factual statements,
logic, abstraction, equations,
concepts, counting, measurements,
calculations define your existence.
- With just seven symbols
ancient Egypt gave mankind
arithmetic,
from its stable are addition,
subtraction, multiplication, and
division through fractions,
upon which pyramids, irrigation,
construction, astronomy, time,
seasons, and lunar calendar owe
existence.
- Babylonians and Sumerians
you tasked with complex
computations from
algebra, geometry, trigonometry and
advanced calculation,
to make their daily activities
construction, astronomy, astrology,
painting, weaving, and measurement
more scientific.
- Greek-you made theoreticians-
from among Greeks,
you gave humanity
Pythagoras, Aristotle,
Philo, Hippasus, Thales of
Miletus, Euclid and many more.
Al-jabr or algebra,
“reunion of broken parts”
- Arabs made popular-
thanks to al-Khwarizmi’s
algebraic rhetorical style,
kudos to Diophantus’
syncopated or symbolic
representation,
propped by al-Marrakushi and
Ali al-Qalasadi.
- Alexander-the-great
you commissioned to spread
mathematics,
through-the-three-tools,
gun, culture, and language.
- Conquered territories,
Alexander baptized into
Greek culture,
after his sword-philosophy,
knowledge, mathematics
Greece bequeathed humanity.
- Through Rome-
you spread three “Rs”
arithmetic, reading, and writing,
by means of Roman Catholic
Church,
schools you established
abroad,
knowledge you spread
to nooks and crannies around globe.
- Inheritance both Hellenized
Greeks and Romanized citizens
localized,
to advance individual society.
India, Eastern Mediterranean,
Mesopotamia, Iran Plateaus, and
Central Asia you made home of
Mathematics.
- To Indians Zero belongs,
from Indians negative numbers
less than zero originated,
trigonometry-Indians gave life-
sine, cosine, and arc tangent,
Indians made more definitive.
- Ancient world and modern
societies,
mathematics recreated,
through math-Europe-
rediscovered itself;
knowledge from math
contributed greatly to
reformation.
- Reformation-many were its
offspring-
exploration, discovery, and
industrial revolution,
gifts to Europe.
- New world-America-
North and South,
you handed over to Europe,
Africa, Australasia, islands,
territories,
South Atlantic-trans-oceanic
navigation,
bequeathed to Europe.
- Thanks to Mathematics-
oracle of numbers,
Horus, Sesheta, and Thoth
three Egyptian gods of numbers
may boast of ancient Egyptians’
success,
but today’s wonders from
mathematics and all disciples
beyond human comprehension.
Mathematics! Mathematics!
Mathematics!
Mankind say: Thank You.

Run Man Run!
Run
Man Run!
Run! Run! Run!
Run to catch up
appointment,
run to meet up with time,
run to gain victory,
run to avoid danger,
run to overcome delay.
Run! Run! Run!
Run from daily evil,
run from gossipers,
run from schemer of
evil plots,
run from backbiter,
run from blackmailer,
run from human-vipers
and scorpions.
Run! Run! Run!
Run from trouble,
run from mockers and
disparagers,
run from pessimist and
despondent,
run from bait maker.
Run from symbolic
torrential rainfall,
run from sweltering heat,
run from chilling cold,
run from terrifying roars,
run from frightening growls,
run from fearful hounds.
Run from dug pit,
run from vermin,
run from vices that
may cause venal,
run from yesterday’s errors
run from sins of former times,
run from yesterday’s mistakes.
Run from yesterday tie-down
beliefs,
run away from home,
run from no-good-friends,
run from inglorious past,
run from discouragers.
Whenever you hear
run, run, and run,
never delay,
never procrastinate,
