ALL
ARE DUST!
You may be a king,
you may be a queen,
royal blood may flow
in your veins,
born with a silver spoon
in mouth,
you may own entire
world;
still you’re but a dust.
Sky may be your
inheritnce,
oceans and seas may
belong to you,
land and its resources
may all be
yours,
still you’re dust.
You may have power
over everything,
your power may go
beyond ordinary,
your influence may be
great in affairs of men.
Natural forces and
phenomena may shiver
in your presence,
tempestuous mind may
become quiet on your
order,
destructive cyclone may
hold on seeing you,
thunder and lightning
may halt on sighting you,
regardless you’re dust.
Sun may rise and set
on your command,
moon may eclipse
upon your arrival,
twinkle stars may fall
on earth in your presence,
nevertheless you’re dust.
Desert may blossom
as you march on it,
wetland becomes dry
on visitation,
ocean may shift base,
cloud evaporate,
river stop flowing,
sky disappear because of
you,
nonetheless you’re
dust,
from dust you are and
to dust you shall return.
Your wisdom may be
greater than Solomon,
insight more than eagle,
your power exceeding
young-maned lion,
strength in you more
than behemoth or
leviathan,
you can race than a
cheetah,
nonetheless from ground
you come,
to ground you’ll return.
Whoever you’re,
whatever you’re,
wherever you’re,
however you’re
why you’re;
remember-
anytime, anywhere,
anyplace, anyhow,
anyway,
dust is birthplace of life.
Clay a repository of
everything from intangible to
tangible,
storehouse of material
elements of life,
final destination of
everything.
Yes earth’s crust the
engine of life,
granary of thirteen
elements of life;
in it are oxygen, carbon,
hydrogen, nitrogen,
sodium, potassium, magnesium,
calcium, iron, phosphorous,
sulfur, chlorine, and iodine;
availability and network
create RNA,
raw-material for your
DNA.
Remember,
from dust you come,
to this dust you’ll return;
“Fuiste
polvo,
polvo eres.”
