Orphan
I’m orphan,
father I do not have,
mother I never know,
at the mercy of society,
I live.
I’m orphan,
parents I know from
pictures,
their voices I did not hear,
I’m orphan,
I live alone,
bear burden alone,
weep and laugh alone,
counselor I do not have,
adviser far from
my four walls,
confidant-someone plays
this role.
Love-kindness-feeling
cord of union in
parent-child relation,
I do not have;
when tired,
no one to encourage me,
when needs a little push,
no one to do it for me,
when sick,
no one at my bedside.
When hungry,
I beg for food,
when thirsty-I beg for
water,
when cloth is torn,
I look for a good Samaritan,
when shoes are worn out ,
plantar replaces shoes.
Immediate home-I lost,
social unit-family-
Being an orphan
I’m lonely,
I’m abandoned,
I’m deserted,
I’m forsaken,
I’m cast aside,
I’m stranded
I’m neglected,
I become empty.
